5:45–7:00 pm Networking Cocktail Hour

Tuesday morning, July 20, Dalberg consultants will be available at the hotel for brief one-on-one appointments for participants seeking additional advice on applying for the Corporate Leaders Program or otherwise developing their BOP business projects. More information will be available at the workshop.

The BOP Modeling Workshop is designed to show executives what it takes to build a successful BOP business model. Several business leaders will share their own stories about their companies’ experiences, but the most important part of the day will take place in small group discussions, where facilitators from the IDB and Dalberg will work with participants on developing their concepts. There will also be opportunities for participants to seek one-on-one guidance.

Participants should end the day with a focused business concept, an understanding of how to turn that concept into an application for the Corporate Leaders Program for Success in Majority Markets, an appreciation of the challenges and benefits for companies that choose to engage with the base of the pyramid and new contacts with peers and colleagues from Latin America and the Caribbean and beyond.

Registration is free of charge. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel and accommodations.

Please note: Most general presentations will be made in English, and during the small group and one-on-one sessions, participants will have the option of speaking in English or Spanish. Please specify your language preference on your registration form so we may plan appropriately.
